What’s more satisfying than having a frozen dessert as your well-deserved comfort food? I will say nothing else. Let me introduce you to this new Gelato place called 21 Factory. Located near Ragusa Ice cream in Jl.Veteran, Central Jakarta, this brand new Italian gelato place is a fresh foodie go-to place. Their freshly made, all real natural ingredients are the interesting fact to consider, not to mention, the many delicious selection of flavors that are available and will keep changing as promised by the owner.
The cute unfinished interior promises a whimsical kinda place to hang out. Besides gelato, they also offer Otten coffee and some other food in the future. So be sure to stay tune for that. For now, I can only review their fantastic Gelato.
Thai Tea (IDR 30.000/Small): Velvety gelato with deep flavor of Thai tea.
Sawo ( IDR 30.000/Small): Indonesian brown fruit also known as Sapodilla. This is an uncommon flavor, but extremely interesting for me. The fruit flavor was very much obvious and there were even chunks of the Sawo in the gelato, so you can tell that it is all natural. Love it!
Mint Chocolate Chip (IDR 30.000/Small): Similar taste of mint ice cream but in a very light and soft gelato version.
Lemon (IDR 30.000/Small): Sweet and sour, fresh and tangy.
Melon (IDR 30.000/Small): Love the color, again, noticeable melon taste. Really good.
All I can say is that 21 Factory has a very promising ingredients for a success: Flavor, Quality and Ambition. Would love to see how this newbie grows in the future.
